Democrats Hate You
And other gaslighting lies of the Republican party.
According to redditor AlanB-Fal, this sign is off I-85 South outside of Atlanta, GA. The co-opting of Uncle Sam to make the point is particularly worrisome, as this gives the impression that dear old Sam is staunchly Republican; that is, at least as Republican as the folks who ponied up what had to be a pretty big stack of money to print and hang this message.
Unfortunately, like so much of the Republican message, this sign is a lie. Sure, there are probably some people on the blue team that have a strong distaste of members of the red team, as the reverse is likely also true. However, this sign proclaiming that ALL Democrats hate everyone seeing the sign is disingenuous at best, and a bald-faced gaslighting lie at worst.
My Republican friends, Democrats don’t hate you. They’re worried for you. They understand that every step of the way, your leadership is lying to you in an effort to gain more power over America, and specifically, over YOU. Republican “leaders” want to remove rights from women, limit the power of YOUR vote, rape and pillage YOUR social security while taking massive kickbacks for themselves from wealthy campaign contributors. They don’t care about you; they only care about the folks that are padding their own pockets.
