In most states, conviction of a sexual crime results in a requirement for the defendant to register as a sex offender. Has Donald J. Trump properly registered as a sex offender for his conviction in the E. Jean Carroll case?
This is not a hyperbolic question. Republicans are quick to throw around the Democratic pedophile lie, while lining up in lockstep behind a convicted sex offender. If he is not registered, then is he receiving the same justice as any other American? And if he is registered, why doesn’t the media make a bigger deal over a presidential candidate that is also a registered sex offender?
