THE GRIFT
The Question Nobody’s Asking
Why January 6?
In arguments in front of SCOTUS today, Defendant One’s attorney Jonathon Mitchell said this:
“We never accepted or conceded in our opening brief that this was an insurrection. What we said in our opening brief was President Trump did not engage in any act that can plausibly be characterized as insurrection.”
Defendant One was in charge of the Stop the Steal rally. Had this been on January 5 or 7th, that’d be one thing. But this happened on January 6, the specific day that Congress was gathered to certify the count. This rally was held on a specific day to send a specific message to a seated Congress. That message was, “Do what we want or we’re coming to get you. Also, we’re armed.”
Mitchell then continued:
“… for an insurrection, there needs to be an organized, concerted effort to overthrow the government of the United States through violence.”
The moment that Trump said, “We fight like hell. And if you don’t fight like hell, you’re not going to have a country anymore” and “We’re not going to let it happen, I’m not going to let it happen”, using the metric of Mitchell’s testimony, January 6, 2021 became coordinated — specifically by the former guy.
Making matters even more conclusive, he certainly didn’t do anything to stop it.
